TSL Industries & TSL Industries Equipment Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as TSL) OPERATES UNDER THE INTERNAL RESPONSIBILITY SYSTEM OF SAFETY, WHERE MAINTAINING A SAFE WORKPLACE AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION ACTIVITIES ARE EVERYONES’ RESPONSIBILITY.

Each employee is expected to follow all company rules, and to perform their work in a safe manner. Workers are expected to report unsafe conditions and point out unsafe behavior.

The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining the Health & Safety Management system, and for implementing this program. The Operations Manager is also responsible for training employees or assigning a competent instructor to train employees in safe work and operating procedures. The Operations Manager has the overall responsibility for safety at each work location.

Managers will assist the Operations Manager in being responsible for maintaining the Health and Safety Management system and for implementing this program.

The Safety Officer will assist the Operations Manager in being responsible for maintaining the Health and Safety Management system and for implementing this program. The Safety Officer is responsible for administration of all aspects of safety, including developing safe work operating procedures, monitoring the GPS tracking system for each truck and all other details involved with the program.

All contractors, subcontractors and others who may do work with, and for TSL are responsible for obeying all rules, following recommended safe work procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment, participating in all safety training programs, and informing the Operations Manager of unsafe work conditions.

MANAGEMENT HAS THE CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY FOR SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION. THE COMPANY’S POLICY IS TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND HEALTHY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EVERY EMPLOYEE AND TO ABIDE BY ACCIDENT PREVENTION REGULATIONS SET FORTH BY THE FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS FOR MANITOBA & SASKATCHEWAN.

TSL is sincerely interested in the health and safety of our employees. Accident prevention is an essential component of maintaining a safe and efficient operation. We are committed to providing all resources necessary to fulfill this duty.

It is our policy that all safety rules and regulations are strictly observed at all times. Everyone is accountable to this program. Working safely is a condition of employment. Failure to comply with any element of this program or legislative requirement will result in disciplinary action including the possibility of termination.

Everyone has the right and responsibility to refuse work when unsafe conditions exist.
